Hey Butterflies. I know that I offended many of you with my title and I'm okay with that. My mother taught me at an early age to eat the meat and spit out the bones. In other words, get the inforamation that's needed and move on. I hope that you can do the same.
In my 50 years of life, I've noticed that there are many people with the "broke hoe" menatlity - this goes for men and women. Because you have nothing , you expect others to have nothing and the cycle continues. Your jealous, hateful, and envious of others that worked hard to get to a level of a comfortable life ie success. You assume that overnight success fell out the sky on those that are living their best lives not understanding that the hustle is real - sleepless nights, lots of prayers, living in rooms, borrowing money, faith swiping the credit card, and the list continues. For the record the "broke hoe" mentality is a poverty mindset. It's a mindset set that depends on the government as opposed to creating generational wealth for yourself and others. It's a "woe is me" mindset that believes that everyone owes you something. The great news is that you can change. It all begins in the MIND!
Now, I must say that if you need the government for a season, cool, but don't make it a lifetime event like generations of people have. Use it to get what you need and bounce (get off). Create the mindset that you are somebody special and you deserve God's best for you. Everyone doesn't want a Birkin bag or a mansion, but others do and both are okay. Don't be a hater when someone does great. Personally, I say, "I'm next in line." I'm thankful for that individual and their success. Why? I have something to strive for. Get you a circle of individuals that challenge you to be GREAT and never be the smartest person in the room! Create a life design plan or do a dream board (vision board). Invest in books that help you be what you want to be, do what you want to do, and have what you want to have. Watch YouTube University. Say positive affirmations. Talk to God (higher power) for directions and answers. Again. It starts in YOUR MIND. Source does provide if you BELIEVE and work at your goals.
In conclusion, I remember my welfare days. I'd go to the store in a fur coat and my smile was always on my face while using my food stamps. You would never have known my struggles unless I told you. I was in college, tired, but focused. In my mind, I knew my conclusion and it wasn't poverty. Why? Because I'd rather be a RICH BITCH and not a broke hoe. As you think, so are you! That's a proven fact - it's called mind science or positve mind psychology.
